How did it all begin?
Our story of bees and honey began thanks to the youngest member of our family, Filip Raponja. At just thirteen years old, Filip showed an exceptional passion for beekeeping and took his first steps with his very first beehive — a gift that opened the door to the world of bees.
By studying professional literature and watching educational presentations by experienced beekeepers, Filip transformed the knowledge he gained over just two years into hands-on practice, supported selflessly by his family and friends. Before reaching adulthood, he completed a course in apitherapy and began developing his first products and activities in Istria. He also received special support from Dr. Gordana Hegić, to whom we are deeply grateful.

Our path to superior quality
We produce our honey using the traditional cold-syruping method to preserve all vitamins, minerals, and other nutritionally valuable components, providing you with an authentic and natural product. We carefully relocate all our beehives to the most ecologically pristine areas of Croatia to produce a variety of honeys rich in organic properties and unique flavors.
Our primary locations include Gorski Kotar, Učka Nature Park, Plitvice Lakes National Park, Pag Island, and Hrvatska Kostajnica.
We produce various types of honey: wildflower, acacia, linden, honeydew, chestnut, sage, and ivy honey, each crafted with special care and expertise for a truly premium natural experience in every spoonful.
Growth of our bee community
2018
A Start from Passion
It all started with three beehives, a Tomos moped with a makeshift trailer, and a lot of enthusiasm. Those were our first steps in beekeeping and the foundation of a story that continues to grow today.
2019
First decision about the future
We increased the number of hives from 3 to 10, and Filip then made the crucial decision – beekeeping would become his life's calling. From the very beginning, the goal was clear: to produce pure, high-quality honey without compromise.
2020
From a Hobby to Serious Beekeeping
We increased our bee population to 30 hives, and beekeeping has grown from a hobby into a serious, dedicated project.
2021
The Beginning of the Bee Park Vision
Despite the challenges of the pandemic, 2021 was a turning point. With the help of friends and family, we cleared 6,000 square meters of land and took the first step toward the Bee Park and the estate you know today. That year, we increased our number of hives to 87.
2022
Content and infrastructure development
The number of bee colonies has grown to 95, and we have completed the apitherapy house and small shop project for bee products.
2023
Opening of the Bee Park and Business Expansion
2023 was a pivotal year: we increased our number of bee colonies to 120, acquired our first trailer, officially opened the Bee Park, expanded our sales, and obtained top-tier laboratory analyses confirming the quality of our honey.
2024
Become a hero of nature
We are launching the project “Become a Hero of Nature,” and OTP Bank has recognized its value from the very beginning, giving us strong support. Their support confirms the importance of our mission and opens up opportunities for further development.
2025
We're growing together
A growing number of companies are joining the project, and participation in the ''Startaj Hrvatska'' program is further accelerating our growth. We are expanding our team and creating the foundation for an even greater impact on the conservation of bees and nature.
